1. What are Nutcracker Ballet Portrait Sessions?

Nutcracker Ballet Portrait Sessions are exclusive photography sessions designed to capture dancers in their Nutcracker costumes and roles. These sessions provide a beautiful keepsake for dancers and their families, with images that reflect the artistry and magic of the Nutcracker ballet.

2. Who can book a Nutcracker Ballet Portrait Session?

Sessions are available for all cast members.

3. How do we book a session?

You can book a session using the link above. Separate bookings will need to be made for Add Ons. When booking multiple packages, only the first will be the $90 package. Each additional package will be $75.

4. Where are the sessions held and when should I arrive?

Sessions will be at Dallas Ballet Center in the Tap Studio. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for time to change into costume.

5. How do I secure my costume?

Once you book your session, we will contact DBC and provide them with you dancer’s name, role and scheduled time.

6. How should dancers prepare for the session?

• Hair and Makeup: Dancers should arrive with stage hair and makeup completed. Feel free to add extra sparkle or details that will look great on camera.

• Accessories: Character props will be available.

• Posing Ideas: Consider a few signature poses in character to help make your photos special. We will of course assist in getting great poses.

7. Can family members or friends join the session?

Yes. Use the “Add On” booking option to schedule a session with a sibling or a friend.

8. When will I receive my photos?

Galleries will be shared within 1-2 weeks after the session. Print and products will be delivered directly to your address within 1-2 weeks from ordering.

9. What can I purchase from my gallery?

Pricing for Prints and Products starts at $20.00 and Digital Images are $35 each.

10. Can I share my photos on social media?

Yes! Digital files will be available for purchase. We appreciate you tagging us on your social media pages when posting.
